Current Activities And Planned Events At The Thakkar Tennis Center

There Are a Number of Activities Currently Going on at the TTC.

There is the 8:30 AM Monday, Wednesday, and Friday Drop-In League where anyone who shows up gets to play. There are currently two groups playing - a mens 3.0 - 3.5 group and a mens 3.5 - 4.0 group. We would love to have you join us.

There is a Womens 3.0 - 3.5 League on Tuesday and Thursday mornings starting at 8:30 AM.

For the more advanced players, both men and women, there are groups you can join. For information on these groups, give us a call at (863) 452-5899.

During the months of June and July, Horace Watkis, HCTA Teaching Pro, conducts the annual Summer Junior Tennis Camp. Get your children involved this summer.

If you are a beginner who would like to learn the game or any player who would like to improve her level of play, get in touch with our USTA certified teaching pro Horace Watkis.

Come out and join us at the Thakkar Tennis Center for the drop-in tennis. It goes on year round, and and you can't imagine how much fun we have. Playing on our Har-Tru courts is so much easier than playing on hard courts. That's the reason that most of the courts belonging to tennis clubs in Florida are clay courts; however, here in Highlands Co., we have the only clay courts.
